partydave Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 That's not a problem. Eat a banana, eat some grapes, eat a piece of chicken.

eccc whippet Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 control the mind and eat less "junk" after a ride... all the pudding and fruit cake from christmas should be finished by now anyway.with only 5 days left...not taking any chances
partydave Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The diet needs to be sustainable...watermelon so lekker but you cant live like that.Yes i'm also jealous...no fresh watermelon here in winterOh no, that's not all I eat, just when I have an urge to "cheat" My typical day is as follows: Breakfast: Eggs and 2 rashers bacon with veggiesLunch: Small portion protein or large portion fruit (often watermelon due to it's re-hydrating qualities)Dinner: Large portion protein with lots of veggies. I use lunch to get rid of dinner cravings. I'll stuff myself with fruit and by the time dinner comes round, I'm too full to finish my plate. It's worked well so far
xnadu Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 4 cony rolls with ham for lunch. That will make my scale batteries go flatdamn - 4 ????
Frosty Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 control the mind and eat less "junk" after a ride... all the pudding and fruit cake from christmas should be finished by now anyway. It's never finished - I found out on day 3 of our Jhb-Dbn tour that we had fruit (Christmas) cake in the food bins. Awesome food to snack on, on long rides. Easy to swallow and packed with plenty vooma.
arendoog Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 No cycling for a month and only gained 2kg .Running every day and keeping the alcaholic beverages low
Boerklong Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Salt, white pepper and tabasco on my food always make me go for seconds.
partydave Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 I had a dud weigh in this morning- 72.8I'm suspecting I'll end somewhere around there to 73 on Monday if I can behave. Weekends are always the most difficult
Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Okay, checked this morning on my home scale (got back last night) and I'm actually at 107.5 - which means the Christmas break for me was a dead heat. Well chuffed with that.
