Put it in the washing machine - a mate in the uk accidentally washed his fitbit and it gave him like 300 000 steps or something ridiculous - he was in bonus territory....

I bought mine from takealot, it's great..IF you don't get any grit in.

For bumps etc. it'll work fine.

you'd need to clean it more often than weekly like I did

So after much debating I will be going down this route as well and will opt for the 42mm option.

 

besides baaisaikel where else can I get a cover for the watch ?

 

I require currently 150 points a week and have just done 2200 points in a week.

Check out ShopandShip.co.za they are a legit online store in Jozi, good service, good guys. They have a pretty wide variety of covers and cases for the watch. Another store I rate is www.digicape.co.za for tech stuff, good pricing too, they are an Apple Premium Reseller so goos they have are procured properly. TakeAlot is good, but be a hipster, support "local" investors.

I normally train for at least 30mins in the morning with my Garmin and score 300 points for each workout.

 

What is the norm points for using just the iWatch ?

 

Been hitting the standing goals daily since Sunday.

 

Just need to maximise points

30 min @ 70% Avg HR (age rated calc ie 220 - age) OR @ greater than 600kCal per hour should net you 600 points.

I know that  Discovery is having issues with Garmin and other platforms uploading workouts onto the site not sure if you guys know about this.

My Garmin works fine, and the wife's Apple watch works fine wrt to syncing to Discovery
