Just need some advice here guys.

I was looking for a decent roadbike, didn't wanna spend too much and this came along:

Raleigh rc6000 Carbon

Shimano 105 10 speed all round.

Mavic aksium wheels

Price - R5000

I know the design is a bit older but is it a good price? I'm struggling to find any carbon frame for that price.

I had the RC7000 and was very happy with it. Only reason I changed road bikes was some idiot hit me and wrote the bike off in the process.

As Marvin said, make sure it fits. If it does and it is in a good condition, grab it before somebody else cottons on.

I'm not sure on the year model. The Raleigh frames have the sizes printed on the frames so there shouldn't be any issues.

Cool so 2 positives thus far.

oh and just trust me on asking for seatpost to steerer tube measurement.

That's probably a center to center measurement on the seat tube - one of mine says 46 - but it's 51,centre to top - check carefully....

Those are good bikes.

Kevin Evans won lots of races on a Raleigh

You think it was the bike?

OP, My first new road bike was a raleigh RC3000. Still got it and use it on the indoor trainer and a bit of road training because carbon stuff is expensive to replace as well as I enjoy the bike and just don't want to get rid of it.
