Pure Savage Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 On Monday the 1 Feb there was an advert on the Cycle Lab On-Line store for a Sram Red Road Kit with an attached picture. Picture showed full drive chain, shifters, rear hub and rims. price was R299.99I placed an order and paid for the item and received confirmation of order. On Tuesday the 2 Feb I received a call from Cycle Lab On-Line shop to tell me that they were waiting for two pieces of the kit to arrive and the order would probably be dispatched later that day.Two of my riding friends then each ordered and paid for the same Sram kit on Tuesday. Both of these orders were confirmed.This morning we all received a call from Cycle Lab On-Line shop to tell us that the kit was actually only the nuts and bolts for a Sram Red kit and not as the picture showed all the components. The picture used in the advert had been incorrectly used to advertise the parts.Seems like somebody messed up?Sram.png Hmmmm.. if you were expecting what was in the picture, you would have only got one shifter, a chain with only 22 links, Canti brakes and no left crank arm....

If you think you can score a full kit as a result of that mistake then I would suggest a highly opportunistic and deceitful manoeuvre on your part. And, did you say you went on to rope a couple of mates in on the deal??

rock Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Picture showed full drive chain, shifters, rear hub and rims. I dont see hubs or rims, I do see avid ultimate cantilever brakes however. the add says kit and not groupset, these are are warning signs, let alone the R299.95 price tag.

Your motives here are questionable i.e. exploit an honest mistake. Then you come on here actually to smear their name in mud because they admit it was a mistake and correct it ? As a first post. Really? On both counts you have to inspect your moral fibre mate. Did you ever phone the lab and say are you sure this isn't a mistake? And what did you hope to achieve by coming here and crying?
