Mojoman Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Off FB this morning on the Bicycling page: Cycling legend Dave Mirra has reportedly died from an apparent suicide. Best known as a dominating and influential BMX rider, Mirra, 41, also was an accomplished triathlete and recently was part of a four-man team that won the Race Across America. He will have a lasting legacy in cycling. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

"Upon arrival, officers discovered Dave Mirra, 41, of Greenville, sitting in a truck with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He had been visiting friends in the area a short time before the incident."
