So many people with so much cynicism over almost every aspect of cycling. The eternal mystery is if these people are so convinced it's so bent how come they still know so much about what's going on in the sport?

 

I am of the opinion that pro wresting is a dirty sport. I know jack diddly squat about it. Zero interest. My total knowledge is there is a guy called Hulk something or other and he is famous, I think.

 

So how come people people that are so convinced cycling is in the wrestling sort of league as far as doping goes yet they know all sorts of stuff about the sport?

I don't believe "clean" riders are faster than known dopers. 

 

The logic of this is hard to refute.

 

Leads to vicious circle: clean rider wins, guy who comes 2nd, 3rd 4th, whatever knows the only way to win is to dope, so dopes.  Then wins.  Then clean rider knows the only way to win is to dope in order to beat doper, so... either he dopes or drops out.  

 

Which means, if you are winning... QED.

 

(Unfortunately the cycle probably started the week after the first bicycle race (1889?) which explains why it is so hard to stamp out.)

Weird.

Because Cycledoping is addictive to follow and watch and unlike wrestling, we all have bikes and ride them rather than faking punches in a ring periodically :-)
