Best "undiscovered" Enduro Trails in SA?

So I'm planning a little road trip and I'd like to know where the best enduro-type trails are in the country. Need to be relatively rough with a decent amount of gradient.

Here's the kicker: don't really want to ride bike parks. I'm thinking farms open to riding or euro style hiking trails that allow riding. Something a bit like Sani Spoors in the berg.

Not sure how far your road trip will take you, but we have very nice #Enduro trails in Tzaneen/Limpopo for all skill levels.

Follow the link below to have an idea and also look on FB/Mtbers do it downhill where I posted videos of two of the three trails yesterday.

The third trail is very new and steeper than the other two and has only been ridden by a handful of people to date!!!!

Isn't ignoring the climbs pretty much always part of Enduro?

Haven't done that Klapperkop Route, but never have anyone to join me there, can't do those alone, you'll get stabbed.

Klapperkop black route is closer to  XCO than Enduro imho but if you ignore the climbs its a blast and its open access.

I've been riding Klapperkop alone for the past year or so, I haven't been stabbed yet. It is a lot safer now than it was back then - they've got guys at the gates over weekends, and there's usually loads of people around if you go there in the popular times (saturday mornings + later afternoons)

It is more XC than enduro though.

Van Gaalens is close-ish and has the very nice Pofadder, Eric's Revenge and Cliff Hanger sections (with loads of climbing to get there though), and the hiking route off the Concrete road is also very Enduro.
I've ridden these sections loads of times and haven't ever seen a single other person riding them - so I guess that  makes them "undiscovered"

How about we direct a lot of people eg foreigners to arrive at the TM lower cable station with their bikes for some lift access descending. It could become a thing and can only be good of the local scene.

So Eselfontein's riding trails are rad, they're rough marathon riding, but not challenging in an enduro sense.

However...
The "hiking" trails are a different story. There's a rumour the farm owner built these "hiking" trails for his enduro motorbike  :whistling:

Pop me a PM with your travel dates and I'll be much obliged to show you...
