Ok so I can see everyone getting out the pitchforks and cancelling their Fox orders left, right and centre BUT besides this situation is it so that all Fox forks and shocks are pieces of crap? I unfortunately am one of those luddites that couldn't probably tell a good fork/shock from a bad one .. as long as it goes up and down and doesn't throw me off! Having said that I do know when it's not working at all, my Raidon being a case in point but only because the rebound damper was basically 'locked' so there was very little travel ....

I'm what I would consider an 'average' rider who checks sag and pretty much makes sure that the rebound is in the middle or thereabouts doesn't ever bother with locking out manually (remote or otherwise), am I in the minority I ask myself

I'm also an average rider (although I'd like to think I'm above average ) and recently replaced my Fox Evolution CTD fork - jip the notoriously bad one! - with a Rock Shox Sid XX and the difference is HUGE.

Not only did the ride quality increase, but my forearms feel a whole lot better when I finish.

ha ha we all think we above average, untill we get that thumping to the ground reality check .

That's exactly what the fit 4 is supposed to of eliminated, the forearm pump that only teenagers want.

Looking at the vids, it looks like there is definitely something wrong.

agreed

OP ... you need to work out a little, push a bit of iron ...... your arms must be moerse skinny to not be able to compress a fork with no air in it :P

Looks like the rebound is set to mach 1 in those videos, ie rebound damping set to very minimum and high air pressure or the rebound damper not so happy?

Well maybe we should all crowdfund this one. It's for the greater good after all.

Send fox a message with a partition attached listing all the complaints and signatures... epic failure by local distributor.

ha ha why thank you..pc skills are basically none ( that's the wife's area) hence why I can't be bothered with all that Facebook,Instagram and # stuff. That's my daughters territory.

Besides I can't afford a pc or lessons i spend way to much time & money on bikes . Way more fun.
