Rocket-Boy Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 I also hate sunscreen, as a youngster i spent many hours shirtless on boats or in the garden. Whilst I still got burnt at times it wasnt really that bad, I assume my skin got used to it.I hate in on my face mostly, especially when riding as it normally runs into my eyes with the sweat. I actually feel I sweat more with sunscreen on. But my wife is supper protective and insists I use the stuff, happy wife happy life, so I use it. But now I feel like my skin is not as used to the sun as before (it might be old age but we dont talk about that).The sun is more vicious these days. I grew up in the sea, I had a permanent tan year round.Sure we used sunblock considering you would be in the water for 4 hours+ but after it had worn off we didnt burn easily.These days I can spend 15 minutes in the sun and get sunburn.
