mazambaan Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Tense bit of TV that. Greg did look laid back and genuinely concerned about the guys that bought a little bit of Scottish rock or timber. Strikes me that GM can really pick good lines; of course you still have to ride them. Great win.
Stretch Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Beers and pork belly finished... now time to hub! Greg demolished everyone today...3 seconds faster than god (who looks like he had a faultless run) and even more than Danny hart who has basically been living at fort William for the past 3 weeks. The crash by gee epitomised the pace that Greg was on..... It was so good that gee had to go out of his comfort zone to try beat it (I'm pretty sure he knew the time to beat). As for poor Ed masters..I think we'll just forget that
Benjamin Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Some seriaaas crashes tho. The dude from NZ binned it really hard over that big jump at the end. I'm amazed he got up and finished like that. Not a sport for sissies this thing.
PedalCrazy Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 How good was Greg Minnaar at the UCI Mountain bike World Cup today!!!! He handled the tricky forest section by far the best and his pedal power at the bottom section of the course sealed the victory ... Go SA! There were a few epic crashes but thankfully all walked away from them.
KingTJ Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Minnaar , Binder, Rossi ...what a weekend of racing. Monday can come now
RocknRolla Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Gee was really hurting. Pure adrenaline that got him down the track.Gregs form was almost like the last two races didnt happen. Who was that other guy that didn't gwin?

There were a few epic crashes but thankfully all walked away from them. It was actually the section just before that where he won it..between split 1 and split 2. there were plenty who were faster than him on split 1...but not a soul on split 2. I think the closest was luca Shaw...who went from 1/2 a second up on split 1 to a second down on split 2...he was pinned today
BSG Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 These guys must be super fit taking rocks and shakes like that. Awesome ride Greg.
banna Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Ja great win for our boykie. What a champ. Hope he's now back on track for the rest of the season.Jassis but that Cruz looks hooooot.

Warren_G Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Interviewer: 19 wins... What does that mean to you? (Such a crap question, always asked) Greg: Well, it means I won 19 times... (Classic!) Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkGreg wins again
Cookie88 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Awesome stuff! Missed this yesterday afternoon but then caught up on the highlights this morning... GM = Legend.
