Its definitely worth a try. They also mention ground coffee. I make my own mocca at home by adding a heaped teaspoon of cocoa into a cappuccino. Not sure if its the same thing though but it tastes good.

Beetroot..................Dark Chocolate

Hmmmm

I think for me Dark Chocolate wins hands down. Beetroot when it's in Red Velvet cupcakes is a very close second though.

It really improved my performance!!

I used to suck on the down hills, but now most people struggle to keep up.  My BMI also increased significantly.

I struggle a bit on the climbs, but I truly believe if I up my dark choc intake to about 300g/day I will get better on the climbs too.  Only a matter of time.

On brands, I found that Lindt works a bit better than Cote D'or!!

Dark chocolate does help improve cycling, fact!!

I have found that if I dont eat dark chocolate, that I become a miserable bitch and I lose the will to live and therefore dont go out training... If I do eat a few blocks, I feel guilty and fat and end up doing an extra set of inervals.

So there, that settles that!

All chocolate and sweets do wonders for my cycling. You do however have to wash them down with 2 litres of coke per day!!

I prefer Pepsi - I don't want to spoil my body with dirty chemicals.

But to add to that I found that full cream milk choclate motivates me more to ride my bike.
