Desperately trying to replace my used gilet.  Only black available in this country, or so it seems!!!!!!! 

Will have to make a plan with an overseas traveler again because I am not signed as a organ donor and too young to die trying to look invisible.

Thanks. Must have pockets and possibly mesh at the back and definitely in the brightest colour available.  Will have a look at the cheap Alberton one - more my style.

Sportsworld used to this in hi-viz yellow (I can't find mine which is probably too big anyway. Edit: found mine. size L 42-44". Feels more like XL to me). Perhaps mail them?

I have a First Ascent magneto jacket - with removable arms - which would have done perhaps, but it's XL (and I'm now a medium  ).

Saw quite a few roadies around linksfield off ramp area in jhb(not sure of exact road names) yesterday without lights and it was overcast! Those with lights were visible

Saw a safety-boot commuter this morning on the N1 this morning heading towards town, just before the plattekloof turnoff. 

 

If I want to cycle to work, the N1 is the only road that has a shoulder all the way.......

When I do late afternoon/evening rides I wear vibrant colour socks.

 

Sure it would help too,  in terms of visibility.
