BUT - just be happy with it as when we were 14 we were riding on Hardtails with elastomer suspension.... Not Fancy full suspension downhill bikes. See the pics of me racing National DH in Paarl in 1995 when I was 14 .... compare that bike to yours .... My eyes !!!

If you only want to ride jumps and flow trails and have no dh aspirations, then maybe you have the wrong bike. I reckon go to Helderberg on Saturday , put on your big boy pants, and listen to the older crowd, they are almost all lekker guys and usually are very willing to share their knowledge and experience. Remember, if the dh bug bites, you won't have money ever again.

The blackhill crew is having a jump jam this weekend and it's been moved to Saturday due to the weather. (Blackhill is very wind sensitive)
