I enjoy it too. It is a similar satisfaction as riding next to a brand new Toyota Fortuner/Hilux in both our cars that are 10 years and 6 years old, bu they are not owned by the bank. No installments going off on payday is a special kind of fun. We are not going past them lauging out loud and pointing at them, it is an inner satisfaction, they don't even know.

Maybe they have paid theirs cars off just like you? Dont judge other people by what they have, just like those who have, should not judge others for what they dont have! If you are a dick on a R6k or R120k bike you are still a dick, if you are a nice dude on a R6k or R120k bike you are still nice dude. Some nice dudes might not be able to get R120k bikes, but that doesnt mean you must turn into a dick on a R6k bike. What you ride doesnt matter, just be a lekker oke about it.

South Africans are very emotionally connected to their cars and see it as a status item, thus the reason for over extension on debt. If I am called a d%$s on a 10 year old R3k bike because I have internal satisfaction that my training effort has made up the difference between my skedonk and a guy on a R120k bike, then so be it. I personally see other actions that warrant the d$5s title:-People on the highway(or any other road) on their phones(Calling and texting)-Drunk Drivers-etc If you want to group me with them, no problem, doesn't affect my self worth.
