So glad we have you to quote chapter and verse on the legalities Myles...

Basically I agree with GLuvs - and add that in my opinion there is a bit of a *** attitude displayed by some TMBC members. Like the oke who wanted to race me because I had a trail bike and even more so because it was a Spaz :-)

So glad we have the option to ride Hoogies and all, but its even better to have JH, where there are no bad vibes and never any Hub gossip threads about who did what and how evil they are - complete with pics of the perps like a tabloid newspaper article...

Chops will be tjops whether at TB or JH, sadly, and the large majority of TBMB people I am sure are only a pain when I scream 'Strava...!' and the poor kid falls off his bike into my path. (Just kidding)

I actually had a discussion one morning if the TBMB guys and I think there are a few differences to JH which is why the TBMB people are more vociferous in protecting the trails:

A) there are VERY stringent requirements if the private land owners in terms of who can rode where. It does confuse me as to why, as often these change for whatever reason (eg the De Aria gate closure) and then alterations are made. But the point stands, that the private owners want routes maintained. Not sure if JH is the same?

B) Patrick is very concerned about trail damage and people riding closed trails are a pest. Whether this is the soil conditions, weather or just bad luck, TBMB wants to make maintenance easier. Calling out people for blatant disregard of this not unfair, IMHO. Wanting them tarred and feathered is probably a bit much though. (Perhaps it really is just the deep South okes riding the trails who will soon be back at Tokai for Myles to politely police. :whistling:)

C) we have lost trail before.

Don't know why people can't just use common sense and be nice. Kumbaya, mofos! :)

Don't worry, we have already ordered Myles' police uniform :-).

I do get the differences between the two places  and as I said, its definitely not all the members. I'll snapscan my way back there next week methinks.

Nah, I'm far less cool than that

Does that mean you do not Don that paedophilic flavour saver? ;)

Orange, remember? Same as the one you have.

Did you bin the pink one? Thought you still had that too.

I'm more than aware of the orange helmet after we both arrived at Welvenpas with not only the same helmet but the same colour top and hydration packs too, producing an embarrassing look of prearranged coordination and much confusion when looking at photos of the day [emoji1]
