I write as a hobby and did a little writing in my previous job, but haven't made anything more serious of it thus far. I have considered it though! So, when is his birthday? Well done to all the sneaky people involved and HAPPY BIRTHDAY ... thats what i call a proper surprise ... and for once BF can happily disclose that he bought a bike And the fact that he can actually happily disclose this is even more surprising considering how anti he was when I first started riding - he swore he wouldn't be involved and that he wouldn't buy any bike related things! He has slowly come to the dark side (although I don't think there'll be any tandem bikes in our future ) I went out pedal and shoe shopping on Monday and finally got on the new bike yesterday. All I can say is WOW! I am absolutely in love with this bike! It is a dream to ride, I'm at least ten thousand times quicker on it than on my borrowed bike (me, exaggerate? Never...), and it is just all round amazing (and as an added bonus, I didn't die on my first attempt at cleats!) I know, I know; pictures or it didn't happen..... So here you go Aaannnnd my shiny new pedals and shoes

They had nothing with blue but I figured the white looks cool, and provided I don't bail off the bike, people shouldn't really see the yellow! That's my story and I'm sticking to it [emoji1]

On a side note, and taking nothing away from your happiness and pleasure:Is the bike setup correctly? Maybe it's the angle of the photo, who knows.It looks like you're stretched out a bit, and I'd hate to read one day that you're having aches and pains because of this.
