Nairo and his driver are both tossers. Eish, some hectic crashes yesterday. Glad noone was horribly hurt but hope the gnome has some serious road rash after that sprint move.

Mortirolo is a beast, but looks relatively tame compared to the other two climbs.

 

In the 2010 Craft BIKE Transalp we cycled (I crawled) up from the other side (Grosotto to Ponte di Legno).

Highest Elev: 2,124m

Elev Difference: 1,484m

He may be a good rider still but should rather devote himself to super domestic duties. Think his carreer as a GT winner is over - maybe he can start coaching a youngster to be a new leader and winner of tours.
