I've been using skate shoes (DC) for a while now and so far so good. I do find the soles a little thin but they work well.

Addidas have a Terrex shoe with stealth rubber that look awsome and a good price.

Beware the duties on importing shoes.....

This ^  especially on clothing.

The adidas are your best local option and with the stealth rubber they will last forever.

Take you CRC price, add the duties, vat, handling fee and shipping and if it comes to within a few percent less than local, rather buy local. That way you have a warranty to the fall back on if something goes wrong. IMO it's only worth importing if you can't get it locally or if you are landing it for a LOT less than a local purchase.

If you arent going cleats, then tekkies are tekkies dude, very hipster BTW.

is there a difference between running tekkies and cycling tekkies. I was toldcto get proper cycling tekkies. Otherwise im going to cramp because im not holding my foot straight? Im really just asking(new to cycling)
