I think BMC is regretting riding on the front all day, I dont think they will do that again, apart from putting a lot of unnecessary stress on Richie to perform it just gives Sky a free ride.

 

I liked the attack by Aru, "fortune favours the bold" and he took the gap and went, none of the others wanted to attack and so good for him, anyway, to be honest, if it wasn't for Aru's attack it would have been pretty much a non entity stage.

So with where Froom is sitting in the Sky train... are they trying to fake a bad form - also the lack of results was due maybe to not pushing as hard for results thus saving more for the tour?

 

Is the road behaviour of Sky trying to cast doubt into the minds of their competitors as to their tactics or who they are really riding for?

There is an opinion that Froome's training regimen has been different this time round as he's preparing to race both the Tour and the Vuelta, so trying to peak later to hopefully win both. Not sure how true this is.
