Patchelicious Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 FFS Bouhanni punches people and stays in the Tour, but we are talking about Hitler ???? Do only "populist" choices take flak?
Patchelicious Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I dont see anyone challenging Froome this year. Race looks done and dusted. With Aru sitting in second and a sniff away from yellow, you never know what dastardly moves Astana will resort too. They might just do something to spice up the challenge. Well besides their usual rest day BB.
Pure Savage Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Sometimes the most basic answers is the best, had a good LOL at that. You are on a roll lately! Work slow? No wedding to plan at KPMG?Work is chilled. Edit: I would like to keep my job
Pure Savage Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I dont see anyone challenging Froome this year. Race looks done and dusted.Top 5 are still really close. I would not write anyone off just yet, will all come down to week 3 form. If this was 2016, I would have agreed with you. Lets see if Froome's peak is just later in season or not there. Aru is miles better than last year. Lucky he is not in yellow, otherwise people would be mentioning that his U23 coach was a known "doctor" and other riders he has coached have been busted. But he is not in yellow, so we wont go there.
Bonus Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 I was just starting to get back into the TDF.. and now this crap with Bouhani.I should be more like Sagan..go chill at the yacht club.. now to find a yacht club and of course a yacht.Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk Hmmm a yacht, in Klersdorp . . . . ;-)

They might just do something to spice up the challenge. Well besides their usual rest day BB.Aru is going to be as popular as a pork chop in a synagogue after this tour. If he beats Vroom then it's all going to go back to his little attack on Sunday when Chris was having a mechanical. We forget that Nibali and Quintana were willing to attack Du Moulin when he was literally caught with his pants down... Aru is young and restless so lets hope he lights things up soon and there is a one to one battle out the front - anything else and this tour is basically done.... I cant recall if Aru can Time Trial? If he can't - game over....
nickc Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Also, Lance won stuff. Hitler lost the war. We only want to hear from winners. But you must remember - Hitler lost his interest in cycling after this well known incident:

He must have thought to himself "aaaaw bollocks"

Gen Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Jis this TDF is going to be remembered for.. The incompetence of the UCI Rival teams working for their main competitors. Riders breaking unwritten rules Peloton insulting a rider for wanting to go in the break but not allowed to as the day is supposed to be slow. The fastest guy is sprinting against himself. The guy that was giving a golden opportunity to win the green is finding that going in up the road on difficult stages and then still being able to perform the next day on the flat lands is easier said than done even when you have a team to help you. Then the team that had some of the best tactics we have seen in a long time is getting hardly and praise for it. Then there is that oke that knows his cycling and is talking about without showing bias towards any rider and people seem to not want that. Then you have a french paper deflecting to a rider who as a youngster had a dodge coach..like with most in the peloton. An Italian paper calling the French paper out for them having to deflect. [emoji23] [emoji23] the circus that is the TDF. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Eugene Oppelt Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Screw Lance He won't be invited to my group ride And he's got a lekka entertaining podcast

But at this point almost anything is possible. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
