Bonus Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 Tomorrows stage starts here in Saint-Girons. We've booked into our hotel - the worst hotel room either of us have ever seen - and while driving to find somewhere to eat we passed the plaza where they are setting up tomorrows signing on area. Will try and park somewhere to have a look at it on our way back to "the hotel".
Patchelicious Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 It's actually a joke.... https://twitter.com/cyclinghubtv/status/885532420908474368
Pure Savage Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Uh oh... needle marks on Bardet veins.... what's that no needle policy? Maybe does not translate to French? #justasking

Zeffer Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 If Landa left Froome and won the stage..... Froome would still be in yellow. Right? He would have taken the time bonusses from Aru...

Eugene Oppelt Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Rule said feeding is prohibited. Not distinct the two cases. There are precedents for penalties also from spectators. Tweetiebird comment ????
Eugene Oppelt Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 "I just needed the right combination, but Sky kept the gap too small. Once you commit, you commit and in the end I didn’t have the legs. The final was very difficult. It’s one of a few stages, but today was a good stage. It’s just a shame Sky kept the gap so close. In the end, I didn’t have the legs, but I tried." Monark Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Sheesh people are hating on Landa! He looked so composed!
Patchelicious Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Only watching now. These two commentators carrying on abot Landa being selfish? WTF is he supposed to do for Froome in the last 200m, guy's carry on like he murdered a baby.
Eugene Oppelt Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Another consistent performance from MainCheeze "5th on the stage today and 10th in GC. . Thanks for all the support from back home..." Luigi on Tweetiebird

Perhaps the strongest statement Landa can make is to finish second and force the issue on leading Sky in 2018. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

GrumpyOldGuy Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I am really quite chuffed Bardet took the stage and Aru is in Yellow, both are young, have their own outspoken personalities and are unafraid to attack and take a chance, the optimism of youth,.... theres nothing like it.!

Sent from my SM-N9005 using TapatalkNot sure what he should have done?....it was short and Froome was going out the back, nothing he could do in my opinion,.....but Froome got off lightly today in all respects, had Aru not been following his wheel when he checked out the drinks table at the camper van Vinokourov would have been hollering into Aru's earpiece to attack, Vino would never miss that move, and Froome would not have seen him again till the podium. Personally I think Uran and Bardet missed a golden opportunity to take time on both Froome and Aru.
