With your potentially "sponsored"ride I had lined up for you...

Thanks bud

however you know everything happens for a reason... With the beer tent being so piss poor it would have ruined my day anyway

That 2km after Anatomic was very slippery with all the leaves. Guy behind me came down just as we exitted the tunnel, then about 500m on I slipped and fell (sore skin burns...), then just after that two more guys in front of me came down. I wander how many people fell in that section. Great ride though - was me second.

I agree regarding the that part in the Parkview golf course. It was much more slippery than last year. They could have scubbed more of the slime off.

I was impressed with my Maxxis Ardent 29x2.40 EXO/TR front and rear, went over the green slippery stuff no problem.

Exactly!

Also nothing stops you in taking a six pack in a cooler with you to the event ready for you after the ride.

It was so cold you didn't need the cooler

My Racing Ralphs was pure rubbish and slippery as snot. I was really not amused.

Looking at his little tummy at dinner on Friday I can imagine he's becoming a bit of an excuse expert...

You're the opposite, looking at you I was gonna suggest ARV's

You guys think that tyres make a difference? I was on Spez Ground Control (with over 4000km on the clock), and felt like slipping a lot - but I thought it was just the wet leaves?

Anatomic wp looked good, no time to stop though while chasing Jules and co who were miles ahead

I'm busy with an "extended video" to try and show quite a bit more of the Hollard Juma route as i took a hell of allot of footage and also allot of drone footage from the Sheriff who was on drone duty :nuke: , will post as soon as I'm done with the edit and the upload.

Just finished watching your Extended Cut. Very very cool. Anyone asks me what it's like doing JUMA, I'm just sending them the link for your video.

You were MUCH faster than me though. :D
