Hi there,

Looking at buying a new lid, as my current one is over 6 years old and have served me well, and I think I deserve something special......

Looking at a s-works prevail currently.  Is it worth the price tag?  Will it be suitable for road&mtb?  It looks really nice and light weight.

Any comments or other suggestions welcome.

Prevails are amazing. I just can't justify the cost. Saw one in a Matt orange. So hot.

I have an S3. The Prevails cheaper sibling. If you want the prevails looks without the pricetag maybe go with that. It also comes with an easily detachable peak. I use mine sans peak exclusively for road. My fiancé liked mine so much she claimed it for herself and I had to buy another.

If I could justify the cost tho. Prevail for sure. In a loud color.

thanks for the replies so far.  I prefer not to have a visor, removed the one from my current Giant lid.

can get a deal on a white prevail with the world cup stripes on.  must say it is a mighty good looking piece of kit!

Lol Dale

I have the Prevail and the Giro Synthe (thank you Pinot).

Both great helmets, but i personally I prefer the Synthe as it fits my head better and I look less like an alien than when I wear the Prevail ????.. I will say that the prevail has really good ventilation.????
