Dimension again not featuring....I am truly a big fan, but cheering for 120th place starts getting boring. Not even 1 guy in front pack?

Never mind the front pack.. all 7 DD riders managed to get a DNF in today's race.... Not sure whether they won a prize for that :)

Be interested to hear the excuse. Segafredo DS felt the need yesterday to apologise for a showing better than DD today!

All said, I am still a fan and much like the Stormers 44-3, its opening weekend and things can turnaround quickly.

What I get really excited about is that both wins this weekend were guys winning alone - what a feeling of satisfaction that must be - like the good old classics - none of this controlling the bunch nonsense for a big sprint. bye bye Skye

I'm pretty torn at the moment. I'm a huge fan but a no show both days and Maincheese losing minutes on a short climb in Oman when they have supposedly identified the problem and fixed it is starting to test my faith!

That said I've been a Lions fans for forever so I'm used to losing :-)

I think the best result DD got in the UAE tour was Reinardt's 5th in the stage 5 sprint

If they are waiting for Cav to find his legs or whatever is missing, it might be futile endeavor   ... but hey could be wrong.

And there was some serious sprinting there with all the top guns, chuffed Sam Bennet took the last one (in the RHS of the pic). Bummer he not on their Giro list.

Yup. Only 69 finishers.

I don't know the race route that well but I'm guessing there is a loop near the end where it's conveniant to DNF and ride a few km along a short cut to the team busses parked at the finish line..
