Any normal rider would learn to not sit up till after the line after the being pipped at LBL.. but no... he just can't keep his emotions under control Congratulations are still well deserved for beating MvdP in a sprint from a small group. Vetplant Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I just checked the adjusted UCI calendar and saw AMSTEL GOLD is scheduled for this upcoming weekend, only to realise that it is cancelled due to Covid along with Gent Wevelgem Hope Flanders and Roubaix gets to go ahead. Gen Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 I just checked the adjusted UCI calendar and saw AMSTEL GOLD is scheduled for this upcoming weekend, only to realise that it is cancelled due to Covid along with Gent Wevelgem Hope Flanders and Roubaix gets to go ahead. I think Roubaix will go ahead..purely because I don't think that area is currently n Covid hotspot area (?) (Unlike Paris) and the riders just zoom past once.. Flanders on the other hand do laps and well we know how many people flock to the climbs..and there has also been a spike in cases and hospitalisation in Belgium.. I haven't seen any rumours that it will be cancelled and there is still time for the Covid situation to improve....so let's hope for the best. Vetplant 1
