• Early entries for 102km and 64km road race close at 24h00 on 30 January 2017.

• On-line entries for 102km and 64km close at 24h00 on 6 February 2017.

• Late entries for 102km and 64km at registration.

• Food stalls will be available.

• Great prizes up for grabs in the lucky draw prize giving. This includes 3 bicycle’s from Giant Durbanville.

• 102km road race is an Official Premier Seeding Event for the 2018 Cape Town Cycle Tour and is the first seeding event of 2017.

• The 102km road race is third largest cycle race in Western Cape.

• 2017 will be the 19th time the 99er Cycle Tour is taking place, with the inaugural race taking place in 1999.

• On race day there will be excellent medical services. There will be ambulance services and Medi Clinic staff will operate 2 full medical points. 3 first aid stations will also be available along the routes. The Medi Clinic Hospitals in the surrounding area will be on stand-by.

• Physiotherapy services will be available at all medical/first aid points.

• There will ample water points and toilet facilities along all routes.

• El Shaddai Christian School organises and host the event. There are over 350 volunteers in the form of parents, staff, pupils and past pupils/past parents involved on race day.

cycle events seeding ladder hasn't been updated yet with the results from the Stellies Cycle Tour.  thought they share a database with racetec

Hi - Any chance the 64km race can be used to get some sort of seeding in for the Cape Town Cycle Challenge? 

 

I've used the full 99ner in previous years to get a good seeding for the CTCT. Haven't done any racetec races in the last 2 - 3 years and seeding is 101.

"For the 2016 Cape Town Cycle Tour we have not only considered your best result in one of the Premier Seeding Events above, but also your best time achieved in other recent events timed by RaceTec (if those times were better) but with a 5% penalty. The seeding index of these events may carry additional penalties if the event was more than 6 months ago, was too short or had too little climbing in it."
