Mostly with hubby and friends on a weekend wherever we decide to go with our respective rug rats in tow and alone in the week morning but then only in a safe well populated place for safety reasons.

I used to go it alone.. but then I ended up single and since then its been a whole other kettle of fish..

Now its twice weekly morning rides with others and at least once over the weekend. 3 Whatsapp groups going.

No more need to ride it alone anymore

i prefer to ride with people, but that does not happen most of the time.  the other issue is that i work shifts and most people like riding weekends.  (of which i only have every 2nd one off, at best)

i'll keep inviting though and i'm always keen for new cycling buddies.

99% of the time alone. I like it, solitary time, thinking time. I like it when the trails are deserted. I do enjoy riding with others too but finding people slow enough is not easy.

I train alone. I am completely comfortable alone and have no issues motivating myself. I despise riding with groups that start late, need to stop every 10k to make a call and eat something.

I am the quiet guy at the braai with my 1,5litre of water and two skinless chicken breasts.

I prefer riding with friends for safety reason and the benefits of riding with friends you can push each other to the limit, riding alone you will just give up and say (los daai klim ek moeg, gaan maar huis toe)????

Nothing like a group of friends chasing each other down a decline at the break of dawn. I prefer the company but I am quite happy riding alone as I do most of the time in the week.

As with most others here, week days alone.

Weekends alone or with buddies.

Some rides start alone and you meet up with buddies on the way, other rides you start with buddies and they leave you for dead when you get a puncture... ;) (You know who you are... :P )

I prefer riding with a small group for safety reasons. Sometimes solo. Several Whatsapp groups active in my area so one can nearly always find a riding buddy or two of somewhat comparable ability

There's social rolling

And then there's training

It's not easy to find a great fit with a bunch of like-minded amateurs

And when it's there, it's lekka

This...and for training the while bunch has to have similar fitness / skills level AND be in the same mood
