We managed to donate our 4th bike today to Zintle from Open Streets Cape Town. She is learning to ride for the first time and was looking to buy a bike! We are arranging some intro to commuting vibes for her and some routes to get to work. This time is had to be a lady as it's women's month

 

Another commuter joins us.

You top few guys commute an impressive amount. I am not even on 2k yet, Would hate to see how many miles you do in a year with training included. In a good year i'll do 12/13k total with maybe 3k in commuting if i'm lucky.

that was the motivation riding a SS as a commuter bike .. far cheaper to replace the drive train with less hassle.

There's a 5000  on the board

Yesterday I finally cracked the 3000km mark. A week after schedule but we will blame the cold up here on the highveld that surprised us last week. This morning I commuted about 8km extra because I forgot my office keys at home and had to turn around to fetch it

Combined, we(28 of us) have almost hit 40 000kms. With our commutes home today it will tick over to 40k plus. Well done guys and girls.

Yip. Was on holiday.  I am back.  Got back yesterday but with flight and train delays I did not end up getting the most sleep so really did not feel like a commute this morning (in the most wonderfull) weather.  Will be back on the commute by Tuesday and then see what I can get in before the winter.

Good morning my fellow commuters. I am now the proud new owner of a Garmin Edge 820.  So started playing with Garmin Connect on the weekend.  This morning I authorized Endomondo to connect to Garmin Connect.  My question now is.  How do I get my commutes to register on Endomondo?  Some help will be appreciated.  Looking forward to not be dependant on my cellphone and only having to press one button to record the rides on Strava, Endomondo, etc.

i think you have to manually change the ride on endomondo to transport.

that is what i do once it has automatically loaded from garmin.

What do you do with rides that was already on GarminConnect?  Example I do not see a ride in endomondo I did yesterday.
