I have got my advice to machine the hub and thats what I'm going to do. Thanks to a couple of peeps who have already inboxed me to get in contact for this and all the support etc. Riyad asked for my bank details this morning, but I'm not interested in any money - the machining will be much cheaper than replacing the hub and rebuilding the wheel so I'll foot that cost myself. If he insists then I've suggested he make a donation to qhubeka.org instead - that way we all win. Now everyone get back to work!

Admin! We need a system where your rating doesn't reflect if you didn't rate the other party, or something. Edit: To contribute to the original topic. Why should the OP bear the onus to check if something is as advertised? That's just dumb. I've also bought things that I didn't check immediately, it happens. There's no direct visual indication in this case, unless you're some eagle eyed cyclist. It's not like he was sold a red balloon and got a green one. Edit: 70 posts until I'm allegedly a safe trader +1, the rating system really needs a rework. Left 21, only received 7. Ratings should not show up unless they're reciprocated. I'm still very tempted to go delete all the ratings I've left. Also, it's very easy to game the system if you really wanted to as there's no validation.
