FootballingCyclist Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Only problem here(besides her stupidity) is that the vast majority of the nom cycling public will not see her as a "commuter" but rather as a "cyclist", and now say "This is the stupid things cyclists do" etc etc... I have daily arguments with colleagues about the diff between commuters and cyclists, But we all get painted with the same brush unfortunately...
Cube120 Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 We have a similar fool in Durban who rides onto the N3 into the morning rush hour traffic as well.Also no helmet.I confronted him one day when he actually stopped at a robot,and he tells me that cycling is not an extreme sport and therefore did not see the need for a helmet.Made some stupid statement referring to the late Burry Stander incident. There is no cure for stupid unfortunately.
