Thor Buttox Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 I was the victim of an assault in grade 7. Home schooling is rough.
Odinson Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 "I told you my mother is coming over for lunch. You're not going to go ride that f#cking bike of yours, Johnathan."

Gravity Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 "I told you my mother is coming over for lunch. You're not going to go ride that f#cking bike of yours, Johnathan."I concur with 'Dale, this one wins it.

Vetseun Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Ag Blondie, I will share it with all. I met a guy a while ago. Johnathan, not Jonathan (that is why I asked)He was wearing a Cape Epic kit. Some gentle prodding reavealed that he hadnt ridden the Epic. He had somebody who had purchased the kit for him. Now I dont like that. Wear an Epic kit, if you rode the Epic. Wear the World Champ jersey if you are the world champ. Wear the polka dot jersey if you ARE the KOM. Its just a respect thing. IMO

It is about being true to yourself and not pretending to be something you are not. It is a pity that with events like the epic that are so expensive, that not all folk that are capable can participate. Sadly an epic jersey can end up saying more about your financial status that your physical fitness. If I had a choice between doing the epic and the freedom challenge I would choose the blanket anyday!
