Adidas Zonyk Pro's or Oakleys Jawbreakers? Or others?

I'm needing a proper pair of cycling shades - tired of bugs in my eyes and burning eyes from wind and sweat.

Friend of mine has the Jawbreakers. I'm quite keen on the Adidas Zonyk Pro's.

Would appreciate any advice? Also where to purchase in JHB?

Both are awesome Sunnies.

Jawbreakers with a Photocromic lens (If you can find any around)

Zonyk pro seem to have very few options when it comes to frame colors and lens options.

Some stores offer customization of the jawbreakers in house allowing you to match them with your kit

Go to Complete Cyclist in Johannesburg (Either Bryanston or Bedfordview) they have plenty of color/lens options in the Jawbreakers

Just got Jawbreaker with Polarized Red Iridium lens - fantastic, they seem to disappear after a while and you forget you are wearing them. And coming from a photochromic these seem to place less strain on the eyes.

Only issue is that they obviously work well in the day and on the road which is why I got them. For off-road they are a bit dark so I still use a photochromic - goes clear for night rides. But even a trail lens is nice.

Massive Oakley fan here. However i switched to the Zonyk recently. Opted for the top end zonyk which has photochromic and their in house "prizm". Awesome product. Best of both.

Why no oakley Zero's??? They feel weightless like the Supernova's of old. I have a pair of jawbreakers and they are really heavy on the nose. Compared to my radarlock radar and radar ev's.

PS had a lens starting to bubble and oakley just said sorry but you are out of the 1 year warrenty period, but we will gladly replace the lens alone for R1450. Sucks ass

Just my 2c worth.

Salice is also a lesser expensive option

I have a pair of Jawbreaker Photochromic. Very comfortable and worth it if you ride early morning or in poor weather. I had a pair Radarlock but they became uncomfortable on long rides. My favourite pair though are my older Flak Jackets. If I have to buy a new lens for these I would go for photochromic.

Thanks for the replies. Picked up some Jawbreaker Photochromic's as I do plenty early morning riding and the main issue I have is bugs rather than needing to reduce glare from the sun  :whistling:

Because these have just landed!  :w00t:

They look and feel superior over the standard EV Zero! More coverage and improved clarity.

You thought the Jawbreakers were clear...These things are amazing
