I've got some Ant+ Dongles coming in to my boutique electronics on-line store in a week or 2 - hopefully at reasonable prices, will post an ad once in hand or get in touch via pm

So I have never really put much time into Zwift until Tuesday night when I tried to chase Fanie(#varkhart) and AntonJ around. One thing I realised quickly is that when you are just cycling around with someone and they take a turn then they disappear very quickly!

I also realised that if you dont know your way around you can take a turn yourself that puts you into some serious climbing!!

5 mins in and I was heading up and that lasted for another 45 mins before it pointed down again...

Zwift is awesome :)

Yup. If you need a long ride on the trainer select "The Pretzel" and see if you can stay on the trainer til its done. Should be about 2h30.

Hey guys, out of interest..... what would be a good deal on a Fluid 2 trainer with a dual ANT+ / BLE speed & cadence sensor ?? I am sure we can put together a bundle if there is enough of a demand.

The drastic price reduction of smart trainers however always makes it hard decision between a Fluid with speed / cadence and the like of a Magnus @ R9 995.00

I wouldn't mind a good deal on the hammer to get the ultimate zwift setup. ;)

I never fiddle with the arrows...let it chose the path.

i can't fiddle when I'm bleeding through my eyeballs.

Hi guys

I am looking for a cheap smart trainer to use with Zwift that will be self adjustable.  Do you guys know of any options that are available, cheaper the better?  Think the cheapest overseas option is about R4 500 for a Tacx Flow Smart.

Reluctant to go with a fluid trainer to use with Zwift as I don't have a power meter.

Any advise/options would be appreciated

Tacx satori. Measures power which all Zwift needs (together with your weight) to calculate your virtual speed. The satori does not automatically adjust resistance though, that you do manually using a handlebar lever.

I bought a satori specifically so I could use Zwift and it works great. The resistance adjustment would be nice but I just use my gears mostly and leave the setting alone. Most Zwift events (races, training rides) are on flat courses anyway.
