BTW:We have nothing on crazy. I did a road race in Italy last week - I have never seen so many crashes in all my races combined in SA. Those Romans are crazy!!!

I'm also surprised no-one tuned the guy but it was a small group at the front, maybe 10 okes. Maybe someone did, and they'll chime in later. Or maybe they just thought I fell off by myself?

So, I don't want sympathy from the Hub. Here's the story: 10km into the 75km race, some guy in B batch tries to pass my bunch on the district road. Cuts in too early, rams into my handlebar, I go down hard at 35kph. He doesn't bother stopping to see if all OK and maybe apologise.

 

So, to you sir, thanks for my broken finger, broken brake lever, broken shoe and broken helmet. Yes, I still finished if you're interested.

 

If anyone saw it happen and knows the guy, please give him a P.K. for me. All I saw was a blue sleeve.

Worse than yesterday! But I'll live, thanks! Managed to fix the lever and shoe, so just need a new helmet and a bit of physio.
