As much as I loved what Tommy D did and will support him on any race where the Froomedawg isn't in contention, I fear he will be a one Tour wonder as he is more Froome than Froome is, and I cannot see the route being as specific to his needs AND the climbers all getting it as wrong as at the Giro again. And if it is as specifically good for him with less steep hills and more TT, Froome will beat him 9 times out of 10

Mmmm I don't know.. when he did well at the Vuelta it was unexpected. .he didn't go there to win GC, didn't prepare to win it to even prepare to even be a GC contender. So far the first GT he targeted he has won..pretty good start don't you think.

 

Time will tell with him.. but he sure does has a never quit attitude. .which is really cool..sunweb will build a strong team for him for next year's TDF.

DDD plans aren't very clear at the moment. Lots of guys getting off the bus.

There is a Rumor that Dimension Data might sign Julian Vermote from Quick-Step.
