Just like MOST Specialized shops do not know that you have a lifetime warranty on the boa dials for spez shoes. You can just go online and order another set for your shoes FREE Hi CoenieHave you done this , or only heard of it ?I just paid R 400 ( I think ) for 1 dial for my S-Works shoe !!
igg Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 My BB just consists of 2 bearings pressed directly into the frame ... PF30 according to manufacturers spec.Fortunately when it started creaking it was just dirt trapped between the bearing and the crank seal, but damn I hate this design. I'm likely going to damage them if I ever try remove them to service.

Ttocs Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 A mate worked out that he spent R20k on bike services last year (S-works Epic as MTB option) vs R4k on 60,000kms service for his Audi. Something seriously wrong with this sport, a bubble maybe?

Insane actually.Major interval service on my KTM 1190 was R2600 or thereabouts, thats oil, plugs, filters and all the other whatevers they do....This gets more of a hammering than most mountain bikes. Yes, big bubble has to burst sometime soon so the sport will essentially end up like golf.

Which s-works do you have as I ended up with an extra set for my s-works shoes which you are welcome to have if it will fit
