Originally a 2016 Jeffsy AL, I wanted to save some weight (was close to 15kg's when i did B&B) and improve some performance. After all the changes I realised today the only original parts left are the frame, fork, shock, dropper, stem and rotors. Weight as pictured with cages and pedals is 13.73kg size large. Upgrades:Full XT M8000 incl brakes and trail pedalsStans Arch MK3's on Hope Pro 4 hubs with Alpina bladed spokes and brass nipplesFabric saddleVittoria Barzo 29x2.25 (these were just available so testing them and will then find something wider that doesn't weight as much as me)780mm raw matte carbon barBlue stans stickersOnly thing left is to get stealth fork decals

Always was a fan of the black blue. You say you had it for a while... how long did it take before upgrading? Honestly when I look at my bike, then there is like nothing I can think of that I need to upgrade, or even just prefer to upgrade.

Just one thing to remember regarding the rubber: 2.5" or GTFO! That bike deserves nice and meaty rubber.

Capra, Jeffsey etc.I've gone 26mm internal with because the bike can't really fit wider than 2.5-2.6 rubber. Definitely better and lighter than the OEM 22mm m1900 rims. I don't know that 30mm internal is really necessary as you can't fit 2.8 tyres afaik (stans wideright etc.).

TAAHIRWP Posted February 5, 2018 Posted February 5, 2018 Any of you guys experience the bolts becoming undone by themselves at the pivot points? Also, how does one torque the bolts located at the top of the seat stays. I cannot get a tool in there, even if I remove the shock.

We have 2 Jeffsy's in our riding group and both have issues with the Pivot points, specifically the forward shock mount.
