Over the moon with my Jeffsy. Had it 2 months now, 2016 AL model that I bought off a mate for a cracker deal with maybe 20 rides on it total!
Robbow Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Great bikes But agreed their stock and service has disappeared. I tried to buy a 29r Capra Pro Race last year, they had no stock, no idea of stock or any plans to get some in. Unfortunately you go and buy something else
Dirt Tracker Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I think there has been some issues with both sides (local and international) and heard the relationships hasn't been on best terms. YT wanted all stock sold before new stock arrived and other bits. Not sure if Black Sheep know more as they seem to stock a lot of YT.

Pretty much the same response I got from them in May 2018 when enquiring about the 2018 stock. So clearly F all has changed in the last 7 months. Real sad that such an awesome brand is dropping the ball so badly

No service is unacceptable when one is planning on dropping R50k plus on a cycle. They need to seriously either wake up and get their house in order or close shop as the brand deserves better.

Easy Jet to France: £52 returnHire Car: £12 per dayThrow in cheese, wine, air B&B accom' and you can still come under the price for the same model here. Then claim VAT @ 20% back at the airport when flying home.

I would just check an empty bike bag in this side and bring back a dirty YT - save yourself the hassles of customs.

Wasn't going to to say that but I've done that a few times and not bothered with the bag on the way out.

I bought a new Jeffsy in March 2018 and had a Issue with the frame in August and they took forever to get back to me in short I got rid of it and moved on to another brand with better local support.

You'll also find ex factory frames on PB in the classifieds from Europe as they are a Germany based brand. Yanks complain endlessly about the customer service from YT over there as well but it's swings and round about as when I was living in Europe I couldn't get decent service from the US brands.
