Not trying to trash talk anyone, just being honest about the type of trails I want to ride to get better and faster, im a newbie too (riding for a year now) but I know where I want to be and what type of riding I want to do to get there. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.

Why is everyone so anal about wheel size? I love my little 26er - she is the perfect "all mountain" bike plus with 170mm travel, I cant really go wrong but maybe im just bias

there's a downhill line at Conters. I assume you've nailed that already then? Also Black from Conters mast into Blue (ok, Blue is not technical, but you did say you wanted fast as well), Revised Enduro, Freeride sections at Conters? Cobra at Hoogekraal? (before Thermophage k@ks me out, she wants fast and technical)

Yep those are the most technical we have. Although upper black at Conties not so much. The Revised line. I would guess she's hit them. But there's a severe lack of technical trails outside of Contermans. There is only Cobra unfortunately....until it gets re-surfaced again

Come out to Paarl.  We have 5 rad lines with something of everything and a dedicated DH line that is Trail bike firendly with fairly chilled climbs to the start of each.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm simply looking for group rides to improve my skills, speed and get input from other riders riding the same type of trails - the kind of riding I want is fast and technical so my riding can get better and I can be at the level I want to be. Not trying to hate on anyone but I guess I stepped on toes.
