Or how many cracked ribs,he has had

A friend of mine has been living in Scotland for a few years and a guy he works with went to school with Danny.

He said he was always in trouble because he would be up on the school roof on his bike etc.

With a lifetime warranty right ? Knowing how SC are with there warranty claims this makes them an awesome proposition. Just might have to rob a bank and or dig into the reserves ????

Gratuitous carbon violence with a large dollop of Scottish humour. I like [emoji3]

There I fixed it for you!

That is crazy. At first I was sure there could be a bit of spin about it but then when he start hammering the stairs.

Anyone else feel a little sick inside when he ditched the tyre all together??

After having read Danny's autobiography I can vouch that SC could not have gotten a better guy to test their new rims. Dude's broken more bike parts than he has bones and he has had a fair few broken bones!

Just wonder how many sets of wheels were used in that video?

How would a good aluminium wheel hold up to that abuse?

Would bend much sooner but an ali rim can be "fixed" within reason( not after something like in the video) , when carbon is broken ( well snapped) its dead , I've seen people have small cracks repaired with no problems

Had the same thought,if they used more than 1 set then all credibility falls away.

Would like to think the test is legit & it was the same set being used.

Santa seem to always stand behind there brand . Haven't heard of a raw deal on a warranty claim. Hence brand loyalty is strong with SC owners ????

"Wheelsets are priced at $1599 USD with DT350 Hubs and $1899 USD with black I9 Torch hubs and carry the same lifetime warranty as our frames, and every one is built at our factory in California. When you purchase a set of Reserves, make sure to save the builder card—not only do you get to see who built your wheels, but the serial numbers are recorded there to make it easy to register your new wheels."

Off SC site.

So who's taking it to R35k locally? Their calculator is f'ed.
