Weight weenies perhaps...?Because its LOOK!!!!!!! and its just better. I have carbon blades(version 1 and 2) on my road bikes and I honestly don't think I can ride anything else again. I don't ride enough proper MTB though to justify decent pedals on those bikes. But if I did, these babies would be in my cart.

Also better mud clearance due to more space around axle. Read the independent reviews.... Used by most Pro's in SA.
