TD will want to gain some time on GT.. In my mind Roglic makes first move... Froome follows by can't follow for long... TD closes the gap spots a chance to gain time on GT.. Bernal is strong but he has to wait for GT.. Froome helps pace but Roglic and TD work together and get a gap.. Froome is cooked and follows Nairo's wheel.. TD and R hit the top of the climb together and work well on the downhill to finish the stage and GT lead has been cut to 20sec over Dumoulin. Thomas to start tomorrow with his 2 min gap intact. But i might also be wrong

I hear a lot of talk about that 20 sec penalty and the 50 sec lost, fair enough, however had he not been paced back to the peleton behind the team car he would have lost a lot more than 70 sec's. Thomas looks good, done everything right so far, will TD attack looking for the win? Froome looks cooked to me and I doubt that 3rd means much. What will be interesting is who is the leader at Sky for next years Tour? I have always loved the tour however I'm liking the Giro a lot more these days, not sure why, perhaps the arrogance of the French perhaps the coverage of the Giro from Supersport, a small highlight in DSTV's lineup. The sparkle seems to have faded a bit, is it just me?

Movistar through Landa said they will defend team class and 2 riders position in top 10 (snoozefest helping Sky). GC guys will try and save for TT so attacks only on last climb or maybe even the last descent, maybe its wet. Thinking of Roglic, Bardet and TomD.

If TD wins based on a single time trial, then 'meh'! as for the TV coverage, Eurosport is turning out to be a real winner
