Hear you on it being recently registered but surely that's not the best indicator for a dodgy site as everybody has to start sometime. Any other typical giveaways?

My question is rather how none geeks like myself can pick up the telltale signs. I do not think I would have found the gavgai site if I was to do some research on gapear.com. Keen to learn to protect myself

All different names but rest all looks the same. The probably scammed a lot of people looking at the comments. All over the world. I kept flagging it as a scam and it's stop showing up in my feed now

Have flagged them, but getting tired of doing so... and expect it to get worse in the run up to Black Friday Agree there are a lot of people all over the world getting scammed by these sites
