dsw Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 2 big mountain stages to go... I think Yates is going to fall apart and Froome is going to ride onto the podium. Tom for the win. I am not so sure that Yates is going to fall apart... tomorrow and Saturday's climbs should suit his punchy style of riding more . Froome is slowly beginning to find form and I think he has at least one big attack left in him...and he will certainly go for it.... but he is probably too far behind to win. I do not think Dumoulin has it in him to drop any of the true climbers over the next 2 days while Pozzovivo will probably just try and hang in and hope to make the podium. So i think it is up to Chris Froome to spice things up. My prediction for what it is worth: 1. Yates2. Dumoulin3. Froome.

With Yates fading yesterday it boosted the other GC contenders BIG time.Now they going to go after Yates. BUT If Yates managers to dish out some punishment today then the other GC contenders spirits will be broken again. What a build up to the finale.......

CASSIE1975 Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 Looking forward to the next 2 days...Yates will hang on nail and teeth to the other contenders today and tomorrow, I am sure...I think he got a real fright yesterday...the Chef's "UP'ed" the meal intake and they will boost him with GU's and snacks the whole day to ensure correct levels in his body...the other GC guys WILL take him on today that is for sure... Today and tomorrow will show what Yates has in him... I would not mind if Tom takes it though...
