Hey Chingy ,

Where does that put me ???

I am a roadie AND I drive a BMW ????

Oh I love shattering someone's perceptions of you when they have put you in a specific box.

"What? You basically grew up in a white Afrikaans farming community and you don't enjoy hunting, yet you own a shotgun and a rifle?"

"You drive a BMW and at the same time a 26er Hard-tail with a triple chainring"

Plus then throw in the Spez Tarmac and my love of running and none of their boxes fit anymore.

Confuses people completely

Words are just words and should not be met with physical violence. Just because a word offends you, that does not give you the right to hit somebody.

Only a “c word” would physically “p word” klap (slightly ironic) somebody else for saying a bad word.

Call me a c..t and see what happens...

Ask Eddy for an opinion...

Back to the subject at hand...

1 - taking a lane is legal and often safer to do than some alternatives

2 - driving into a cyclist is insane - just imagine what said driver would have to say to the cyclists kids? Sorry doesn't cut it here... not even close.

3 - running from the scene of an accident - pondscum with no respect for the rule of law or society - just the same as murderers and rapists - they should be shot at dawn.

It's 2018 - feelings are REAL and I owe you half an ironic PK for insinuating that I'm a potential ladybits.

(to be read in comic sans of course)

A vajazzle is a vajazzle is a vajazzle. Unless if it's done with fusilli pasta. In which case it might be lunch.

(I'm saying it's all about perspective, so don't let Patch's grumpitude get you down...)

Flipping the bird at someone is the equivalent of swearing at them. Ramming a bike with a car is the equivalent of assault with intent. The severity (and consequences) of these 2 actions are light years apart.

Would you really attempt to run someone over for swearing at you???

I know right, here I am saying punching people is bad and I get threatened with a "see what happens if you call me a word that you never said you call people, and if you don't believe me, ask my lawyer friend about my assualt credentials"....

Would you run me over with your car like this BMW driver did?

No - if you were on a bicycle taking the lane I would drive my enormous SUV behind you at a safe distance and protect you from the morons behind me till whatever obstruction causes you to take the lane is cleared.

But - if you were to call me names as a cyclist from your car.... or cut me off.... I am more than happy to show you pictures of my kids... or chase you down and dent body panels.... or both... in sequence.   :) and repeatedly if necessary....

Chill bro.... it's a rhetorical type comment and not directed at you personally - but I don't take well to being called names... or poor driver behavior...  (I admit this might be called poor rider behavior - but its a consequence, not a cause - assault with a deadly weapon entitles one to a defence... as appropriate...)

I know, I am just playing along... promise not upset, just pulling legs too.

If I had to punch somebody each time I was called a name, Connor McGregor would be calling me out for a mega fight. Its just not worth getting upset over.

I'm hoping you being a cyclist makes you a more responsible BMW driver.

But seriously, do you park in your bay or do you park sideways across 2 parking bays?

If the former is the case then you're okay by me

This is getting deep....

I also don't like it when people call me names, but being called names is a 'shame on you' scenario.... reacting with name calling or violence is a 'shame on me' scenario and the fact that I can't hold my alcohol means that there is more than enough self inflicted 'shame' on me to go around..

People are way too emotional

Sounds like there'd be a market in making cycling tops with pictures of your children on them and text saying "Don't run me over, they need me."

But I'd need to borrow some children, or their image, and the Judge prohibited me from doing that again.....
