Do the same here, Even more frustrating if it happens on race day.

Put sealant in your tube - and or carry a couple of big mushroom plugs for holes and a gluable gaiter strip for cuts 150 x 50mm is about right

I also just leave them in, just wondering how often do people use a tube? I have not used one in the last few years ... And I ride a few kilometres a year [emoji848]

Duiwetjies ?

Have not worried about them since I went Tubeless 10 years ago

Just ride them off and let the juice do its work

Its the long white jobbies that you need to just break off flush with the tyre

I don't even carry a tube. What for?So who cares if the inside looks like a porcupine

Had the same thought till I needed one for the first time in years! Rode over a large piece of a beer bottle that slashed the tyre all the way across it's width. Just so happened that I had removed my tube from my pack the previous week coz I had never needed it. Had to remove a bunch of thorns and bum a gator and tube from a friend.
