The Cycling Podcast Vuelta edition for today has the only interview so far with Rick Delany, owner of Aqua Blue after they have folded (aka disintegrated in pieces). After listening to that I reckon he should open a 'rant' on le hub on a Friday!

Shame man! I can so relate to what he's saying.

I see your "the ASO thought we were great and they loved what we were doing, but then they didn't invite us to a whole load of races"

and I raise you "the bank managers told us they loved our ideas and it was all going to work fantastically . . . . but no, we won't lend you any money"

lol

If the Giro is a little ‘unique’ then the Vuelta is quite random.... helicopter manages to whip up barriers and send them into the peloton. No one blinks.

vuelta is the GT I want to go watch in person. It is nuts

What an outlier Valverde is

38 years and still able to beat of the world's best on an uphill finalè

Sagz Baby seems to be recovering well after his break since the injury

What a racer

Sagz Secretly wishing he could sprint with rim brakes.....

Valverde the wise old coot, timing and experience coming to the fore

Bouhani yesterday Valverde today. Two of my least favourite riders in 2 days.

Could a decent rider win something please!

Quintana you say?

In my opinion Valverde is the best bike rider of this generation..his abilty to win on any type of terain is incredible!!

There is no one that comes close to his results in Grand tours, classics, weeklong tours..and world champ medals.

Not loved by all mainly because of his doping denial but I just love what he can do on a bike!!

If he wins worlds this year it will be the cherry on the cake!

Think this race is setup for Quintana to win..he must be favourite at this stage.

I am hoping Kruijswijk can pull it off..LottoNLJ slowly but surely becoming my favorite team!
