Scott young guns out.

Scott is not having a great 2018 so far, I know it is not how you start, but not been the most enjoyable. Then again not sure how they would have topped last year which was really an awesome year for them

I bet on both losing their partners before the end of the week.

I reckon Kate is being managed now well into unknown territory.

If anything grotts is more likely to be broken first

Every year!

30% of the bikes are spaz, doubt more than 5% of the tyres. Susi was saying on the live feed that they have chosen their hardest wearing option this year. Back to the lab?

And it's not just in the XC race scene where there rubber is a problem. Jared Graves has been robbed many a time of solid EWS stage results due to failed rubber and the Spez WC team fair only marginally better.

Spez seems to strictly prohibit their pro teams from using other tyre suppliers.

game on!

Imagine the lead if spez had decent tyres

Yip and the 'traditional' XCO guys looking forward to a couple of shorter and more technical days...

Since Burry and Sauser's days I remember the phrase '...and Spez/Songo have another puncture...' and again and again.

Weather wise the riders must have been VERY grateful today, especially on this long day, so far the weather has probably been as ideal as could have hoped for.
