BuffsVintageBikes Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 I just got back from a 3 day Tripper package at the Epic compliments of Virgin Active.It truly was magical experience and I got to bang bars (figuratively and literally) with a few of the stars and ex-stars in world sport. We only did just over half the distance the Epic teams rode on Monday & Tuesday and I had forgotten just how brutal the Epic trails can be. There are very few free kilometers out there and the terrain is harsh. It chomps legs for breakfast. After only 2 days you could already see the fatigue on riders faces and bodies at the dining table. African certainly isn't for sissies and this Epic is living up to its tradition of being Untamed.

What a class act, easy to talk to and naughty as hell, he had us in stitches most of the time. And he can still pedal a bike... fast. He recons he'll be back next year to ride it... he's hooked.
