If I read correctly those are only for 9 and 10 speed cassettes?

Think 11 too?

"Victory hubs feature stainless steel bearings and rear hubs are Shimano/SRAM 9-11 speed compatible"

But mail them and ask - I contacted them for a Campag body on my Argents, had no issues.

After 98612323421883 punctures, and only some (read most) of those I am responsible for, I would like to go tubeless.

I am a heavy rider at 95kg but with all my cycling paraphernalia, I am quite heavy and my wheels really do take a beating on the road.

Is the above sufficient?

What is your current setup? And do you get pinch flats, snakebites?

My dad is not quite as heavy as you, but he very rarely has punctures on his road bike. Gatorskins and tubes with sealant in does the trick for him.

Good call !

But why are you getting so many punctures on a road bike ?

It is a combination of weight, bundu bashing over cat eyes and stones. The odd pothole and there was the brake caliper touching my tire episode too. So in actual fact, I am surprised that I don't get more punctures...

I have an old Trek SL.

haha, maybe you should pay more attention to where you riding? What pressure do you pump your tires?

I'm also heavy (92kgs) and I cant remember when last I had a puncture on the road (touch wood)

Also what tires have you got on? Maybe invest in some gatorskins first?

Got gatorskins on now. I pump it 8 bar now. And I am thinking that my current wheels are done.

Get yourself a mountain bike. Seriously, even those things shouldn't cause so many punctures. It been at least 4 years since my last puncture. Make sure your pressure is right, make sure your rim tape is fine and sprinkle some talcum powder around the valve. That way if it's not aligned properly when inflating, it will slip into position a lot easier.

How wide are your tyres ? Try to ride at least 25c.

Maintain pressures to avoid pinch flats. Avoid hitting cateyes etc if you can.

Check your tyres on the inside for glass etc. that has protruded and can cause repeat punctures.

New wheels won't make much of a difference unless you have spokes poking through or your rim tape is not covering the spoke holes properly.

Check that your rim tape is intact and properly positioned. If not, a good rim job should solve your problem.

25C, I am up for the rim job, maybe cheaper option.

I run those wheels with Schwalbe Pro One's and have had one puncture I'm the last 1200km which sealed up by itself. I think EVO bikes do a deal with rims and Schwalbe's together. Just note that the 25 Schwalbe tyre inflates to the size of a 28 and may not fit your bike. Rather get the 23 which is the equivalent of a 25
